Following their Week 14 matchup, Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson and Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur shared what was an icy postgame handshake.
The cold exchange between the coaches was caught on camera and it was likely a result of Johnson's comment about beating LaFleur twice a year while he was the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions.
"To be quite frank with you, I kind of enjoyed beating Matt LaFleur twice a year," Johnson said when taking the Bears job earlier this year.
After LaFleur got the better of Johnson in Week 14, Johnson beat his NFC North foe in Week 16 in the most improbable way possible.
That led to this latest quick and icy exchange.
Oh Boy: Packers HC Matt LaFleur shared a quick no-look pass handshake with Bears HC Ben Johnson.
These two coaches do NOT like each other.
Adding insult to injury, the Bears pulled off a ridiculous comeback to even the season series at one apiece.
The Bears trailed by two scores in the fourth quarter but managed to mount a comeback that included an onside kick recovery to push the game into overtime.
Then, the Bears finished the game off with a perfect deep ball from quarterback Caleb Williams to wide receiver DJ Moore.
Now, the Bears strengthen their grip on first place in the NFC North, while the Packers remain in second place.
Chicago draws a matchup with the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17 while the Packers take on the Baltimore Ravens.
