What happened between Andrei Arlovski and Jack Doherty? Ariel Helwani reacts to brawl at Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua 

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski was involved in a brawl at the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua event.

Video footage showed Arlovski bumping into Jack Doherty, a popular YouTuber known for performing pranks.

Things too a turn for the worse after some words were exchanged between Arlovski and Doherty.

The YouTuber was with two male companions and a large bodyguard. One of his companions actually threw a punch at the former UFC star. Arlovski wasted no time in taking on all three of Doherty’s party.

Footage showcased Arlovski mostly hitting the two companions. One of them, in a white shirt, was also kicked by the former UFC champion.

The brawl was one of the side notes from the huge fight between Paul and Joshua. Ariel Helwani, who was reporting live from the fight, posted a scathing message to Doherty’s team on X.

“You have to be an absolute generational dumb*** to step to Andrei. I don’t care if he’s 45, 55, 65 or 75. Don’t mess with the OG Pitbull”

Doherty could be heard repeatedly telling his crew to back out. However, one of them also showed an offensive gesture to the ex-UFC champion after he was already beaten up.

Arlovski was seen heading into an elevator while Doherty quickly left the area with his crew.

Jack Doherty arrested in November 2025

Doherty, 22, was arrested earlier in 2025 on drug-related charges in Florida. The incident took place on 15 November

The YouTuber was disrupting traffic for his channel but police reportedly found him with drugs. The Miami Beach Police also shared a statement following his arrest:

"The Miami Beach Police Department remains steadfast in its commitment to maintain public safety and order throughout the city—regardless of celebrity status. The Department will continue to take proactive enforcement action against behavior that endangers residents, visitors, or officers and will hold all individuals accountable under the law."

Doherty was also banned from Kick after crashing his McLaren in October 2025.
