Becky Lynch is no longer the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion. She lost her title to Maxxine Dupri in the most shocking manner on tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW. AJ Lee made her return in Madison Square Garden tonight during Becky's match against Maxxine.
Her presence was enough to distract Becky, which allowed the Alpha Academy member to take advantage and attack her, and later pin her. With this, the blistering rivalry between Becky Lynch and AJ Lee takes a new turn. With Seth Rollins out of action for the foreseeable future, it will be interesting to see how the former women's champion reacts to this loss.
Here are four directions for Becky Lynch in WWE after losing her IC title.
#4 Quit WWE
Rather than locking horns with AJ Lee once again, Becky Lynch can quit WWE for the time being. Although she is still under the contract of the Stamford-based promotion, she can call quits out of frustration. Seth Rollins is no longer around, and Becky is no longer a member of The Vision either.

And with no gold around her waist, The Man wouldn't have any motivation to continue in WWE. She also possibly won't be going after the Women's World Championship. Instead, the 38-year-old superstar can call it quits once again.
#3 Match against AJ Lee at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
If Becky decides to stay, then she will certainly go after AJ Lee. The two haven't gone against each other in a one-on-one fight since The Black Widow's return to WWE. Moreover, the creative team would also be aiming to book AJ Lee in one of the biggest events of the year.
Next week on RAW, the fans can witness Becky Lynch challenging AJ Lee for a one-on-one match at Survivor Series: WarGames. And, the Geek Goddess would be quick to accept the challenge.
#2 Take time off from WWE and return with Seth Rollins next year
Becky Lynch can also take some time off from the company, and then return next year with her husband, Seth Rollins. The Visionary has been taken out of action due to a shoulder injury and is expected to undergo surgery for some time. His return is mostly expected around WrestleMania 42 next year, and around the same time, Becky Lynch can also make her comeback.
The roster on RAW currently has top women superstars like Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), Stephanie Vaquer, Nikki Bella, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. There's no dearth of talent at the moment, so Becky can take some time off and then return after a few months.
#1 She and AJ are part of the WarGames match
Becky Lynch and AJ Lee can also take their rivalry to the WarGames at Survivor Series. The current women's WarGames team has four members each. While the heel side has Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and The Kabuki Warriors, the babyface side has Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, IYO SKY, and possibly Charlotte Flair. Since each team has to have five members, Becky Lynch and AJ Lee can join each side to compete in the women's WarGames match.
We'll see how the creative team wants to book these superstars going forward. Will it be Becky going against AJ Lee in a singles match, or will the two compete in the WarGames match at Survivor Series: WarGames opposite each other? We'll find out next week on RAW.
