Bayley pays a subtle tribute to Mercedes Mone on WWE RAW

Mercedes Mone and Bayley are longtime friends. The two shared the ring in WWE as teammates and as opponents. Unfortunately, the two stars are now separated, as they work in different promotions. Despite the distance, the duo occasionally interact on social media. Recently, the WWE star used her friend's move to secure a major victory.

The Role Model was on a two-month losing streak. During the latest edition of RAW, she faced The Judgment Day's Roxanne Perez. She had Lyra Valkyria by her side. In the closing moments of the match, The Prodigy hit Bayley with a thunderous slap across the face, which led to the former WWE Women's Champion firing up.

During the climax, Bayley hit multiple moves back-to-back to win the contest. One of the moves she delivered was of Mercedes Mone. The CEO usually performs a double-knee strike to her opponent's chest. The Role Model hit the same move on Roxanne before picking up the win and ending her losing streak.

Konnan believes Mercedes Mone is trying to get Bayley to AEW

While The Role Model hasn't been booked well in the past few months, The CEO has won a dozen championships by traveling around the world. She has also become the longest-reigning TBS Champion.

While speaking on Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL, WCW veteran Konnan claimed that Mercedes Mone might be trying to convince Bayley to join All Elite Wrestling, as The Role Model could enjoy all the perks Mone enjoys.

It will be interesting to see if Bayley joins AEW in 2026 after her contract expires.
