Juan Soto, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Fernando Tatis Jr. all signed with MLB organizations within a few months of each other in 2015. All three sluggers of Dominican heritage went on to become stars in the MLB in subsequent seasons.
In a video published on MLB's X account, Juan Soto recalled a moment he shared with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Fernando Tatis Jr. in a Washington Nationals training camp in 2014.

Soto remembered how "Vladdy" wowed the scouts with his elite prowess.
“Vladdy was putting on the show every day," Soto added. "And I remember one time we went to the Nationals' academy. Vladdy hit for, like, 30 minutes straight. And we were just shagging, and he was hitting balls 500 feet all over the field. We don't even need shagging. "We're just going out on the field. And we're like, ‘What is going on?' He put on a show for us. We were impressed. And we hit two, and then they say, ‘Okay, tryout's over. You guys can go. Let's talk to Vladdy!' Yeah!”However fans on social media felt that the New York Mets slugger was being humble. They noted how the three superstars had their unique talents from a ripe age.
Here are a few reactions:

@MLB Wild to think about three future stars in the same room as teens . Honestly, it’s hard to pick: Soto had the plate discipline that made scouts drool, Guerrero Jr. had the raw power, and Tatis Jr.… well, the athleticism and flair were obvious.
@MLB scouts prob walked out thinking they’d just seen the future of the league in one afternoon
@MLB three futures collided in one tryout ⚾✨
