Luka Doncic expressed his feelings after Giannis Antetokounmpo missed a free throw during the game between the LA Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. The Lakers were in the final game of their five-game road trip, taking it to the Bucks to earn a 119-95 win.

Late in the third quarter, Doncic was called for a foul on Antetokounmpo, sending "The Greek Freak" to the free-throw line. The Lakers superstar argued with the referees that it wasn't a foul, though his protests were not fruitful.

Luckily for Doncic and the Lakers, Antetokounmpo missed both free throws. The second attempt was even an airball, prompting a diabolical reaction from "Luka Magic."

The phrase has been used commonly in the playground way back then, though it was popularized by Rasheed Wallace in 2012. Wallace was whistled for a technical foul after pushing Luis Scola during a game between the New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns.

Goran Dragic went to the free-throw line to shoot the technical shot, but he clanked it. Wallace would then yell, "Ball Don't Lie," which echoed in the entire Madison Square Garden. He was immediately called for a second technical foul and was ejected from the game after less than two minutes on the court.

In Luka Doncic's case, he argued that the ball wasn't lying since Giannis Antetokounmpo missed both free throws. The phrase remains popular, though it can be pointed out that Antetokounmpo is not one of the best free-throw shooters in the NBA, and him missing two and airballing one isn't a surprising incident.

The LA Lakers entered Saturday's game looking to finish their five-game road trip strong. They had two wins over the Charlotte Hornets and New Orleans Pelicans, but they were blown out by the Atlanta Hawks and OKC Thunder.

Luka Doncic looked like a man on a mission, sparking the 23-3 run that put the game away early in the second quarter. Doncic finished with 41 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two blocks. He went 9-for-19 from the field, made five 3-point shots and shot 18-for-20 from the charity stripe.

Austin Reaves added 25 points, six rebounds and eight assists, while Deandre Ayton contributed 20 points, 10 rebounds and two steals. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 32 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the Milwaukee Bucks.
