MANGA MIRAI, the digital manga platform launched earlier this year by NTT DOCOMO in partnership with MyAnimeList, Akatsuki Group, and MEDIA DO, is expanding its library with the addition of VIZ Media titles. As of June 24, MANGA MIRAI began rolling out approximately 4,000 English-translated manga volumes from the North American publishing giant.

The new lineup includes fan-favorite classics such as One Piece and NARUTO, as well as recent hits like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Call of the Night, and Komi Can’t Communicate. Uzumaki and Komi Can’t Communicate will become available on the platform starting July 1.

To celebrate the launch, MANGA MIRAI will hold an “Adapted to Anime” campaign from July 1 to 31, offering 50% off select titles. Discounted series include:

  • My Hero Academia: Vigilantes

  • WITCH WATCH

  • Me & Roboco

  • Sakamoto Days

  • Kaiju No. 8

  • Dandadan

  • Call of the Night

  • Dr. STONE

With the inclusion of VIZ Media titles, MANGA MIRAI’s catalog is expected to grow to roughly 20,000 volumes by August 2025.

The platform is also preparing for its first appearance at Anime Expo 2025, taking place from July 3–6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Fans can visit MANGA MIRAI’s booth (WF6, West Hall Lobby) to experience the service firsthand and take part in a variety of activities, including:

  • Manga Corner: Read printed manga books for free, including anime-adapted favorites.

  • Experience Station: Try out MANGA MIRAI on-site using provided iPads.

  • Photo Spot: A manga-themed photo booth perfect for cosplayers and social media posts.

  • Gacha Machine: Win exclusive merch by signing up for an account or completing other qualifying actions.

  • Exclusive Gifts: Purchase titles on MANGA MIRAI and receive limited-edition character merchandise (while supplies last).
