The Western Conference's top two seeds are set to meet with a Stanley Cup Final berth on the line.

After each advanced past the second round, the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights will meet for their highest-stakes series yet — but they've taken differing paths to reach the Western Conference Finals.

While Nathan MacKinnon and the Avalanche handled business vs. the Wild in Round 2 in five games following a sweep of Los Angeles, Vegas took six games to defeat both Utah and Anaheim.
