Left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh took a brilliant running catch as Mitchell Marsh was dismissed for 30 in the fourth T20I against India. Batting first, the Men in Blue posted a total of 167/8 on the board.

Shivam Dube was introduced into the attack to bowl the tenth over of Australia's chase. Dube created an impact right away as he accounted for the wicket of Mitchell Marsh. On the second ball of the over, he bowled a slower off-cutter, just short of good length, on the leg side.

Marsh attempted to heave it away, but was not successful as he found Arshdeep Singh in the deep. Arshdeep sprinted to his right and completed a good running catch to end the Australian skipper's innings. Marsh fell for 30 runs off 24 balls. His knock included four boundaries.

It was a crucial scalp at that stage as Marsh was well set. The hosts were reduced to 70/3 with this wicket. Earlier, Dube scored 22 runs with the bat, hitting a six and a boundary.

Mitchell Marsh has not been able to translate solid form in this series

Mitchell Marsh had been in exceptional form in white-ball and T20 cricket ahead of the series against India. However, the Australian skipper has not been as explosive in the four T20Is so far.

While the first game was washed out, he scored a quickfire 26-ball 46 with two boundaries and four maximums in the second match. He struggled to get going in the third T20I. The right-hander scored 11 runs off 14 balls with one boundary at a strike-rate of 78.57.

So far in the series, he has managed to score 87 runs from three innings at an average of 29 and a strike-rate of 135.93. He did not have an extraordinary display in the ODI series either.

Mitchell Marsh scored 98 runs from three matches at an average of 49 but a strike-rate of just 77.77 without a single fifty-plus score. The right-hander will aim to make a bigger contribution with the bat in the final match of the white-ball series. The fifth T20I will be played in Brisbane on Saturday, November 8.
