Arsenal's set-piece coach Nicolas Jover is expected to join up with the Saudi Arabia national team for their upcoming October fixtures against Indonesia and Iraq.

Saudi outlet Riyadiya TV reported that Jover has already been present at the Green Falcons' training camp in Ta'if and will continue to support Roberto Mancini’s squad next month.

The French specialist is regarded as one of the most influential figures in Mikel Arteta's backroom staff, credited with transforming Arsenal into a major threat from dead-ball situations.

Since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium in 2021, the Gunners have scored 70 goals from set-pieces across four seasons, a tally highlighted by the Saudi media as evidence of his expertise.

Jover's track record includes stints with Brentford and Manchester City before he moved to north London.

His reputation has grown steadily, with Arsenal consistently ranking among the Premier League's top teams for goals from corners and free kicks.

The Saudi national team are preparing for the next stage of World Cup qualifying, although it is expected that Jover's involvement will not affect his role at Arsenal.
