A post, claiming Steph Curry and Ayesha are getting a divorce, has gone viral on social media. However, the couple is not getting a divorce as a parody account has spread the post.
On Saturday, December 27, a page with the handle @HoopsCrave shared a post on X (formerly Twitter). It showed a picture of Steph Curry with his wife, Ayesha, and the caption read:
"Steph Curry and Ayesha are getting a divorce"At the time of writing this article, the post had over 4.6 million views and over 20,000 likes. However, the claim is false. The page, Hoops Crave, is a parody account of the popular page, Pop Crave, which shared pop news on social media.
The post comes amidst criticism of Ayesha for her re-surfaced comments about marriage on the Call Her Daddy podcast. During the episode published on August 20, 2025, she said:
“I didn’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married. I thought I was going to be ‘career girl,’ and that’s it. After we got married, we found out we were pregnant so quickly, I didn’t even have time to think about what I wanted anymore.”This led to some fans of Curry taking aim at Ayesha and criticizing her on social media. However, the couple has shared some heartwarming posts and comments on social media since then, dismissing any rumors of a rift.
Curry and Ayesha knew each other as teens but reconnected in 2008 when they were older. They then got married on July 30, 2011. They have also welcomed four children together: daughters Riley and Ryan and sons Canon and Caius.

“My n***a said she wanna go be Glo!!! Man Steph doesn’t deserve the embarrassment frfr. God Bless him.”Steph Curry slammed the rapper and replied:
“Naaaa not you Mike! I’m cool [staying] silent and letting these other clowns have [their] moment! And you’re the worst of them [BooWoodz]. But you’re better than that [Killer Mike]. Stay in your lane and let God keep blessing me like he is. We r good over here.”Killer Mike then issued an apology to the NBA superstar, saying in a video on ClubShayShay on Instagram on October 1:
“Steph Curry, Ayesha Curry — boy, my wife done cussed me out. My oldest daughter called me. My youngest daughter called me. … Homeboys that have played in the NBA called me.” “And I realized that maybe I shouldn’t smoke and get on Instagram. So let me say this, ’cause I appreciate you checking it; it shows you have a tremendous amount of respect for me. Mrs. Ayesha Curry and her husband Steph, I apologize for my statement being misconstrued.”Mike reiterated that he was "stoned up" and he realized that it wasn't his business and apologized repeatedly.
