Gwyneth Paltrow’s Daughter Apple Martin Addresses “Really Upsetting” Criticism in Rare Interview
Apple Martin is being supremely honest about her past beauty regimen.
The daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin addressed online speculation that she's gotten lip filler for the first time.
"Time to come clean," Apple said in the Feb. 12 episode of Vogue's Beauty Secrets series. "I got lip filler one time. I think I got it when I was 18. I just thought it was too big."
"But everyone seems to think that I have crazy lip filler," she continued, noting that these days, "I just pout my lips a lot and, I put on a lot of lip liner."
The 21-year-old also walked through her "lip filler optical illusion," in which she makes her lips look more plump with the help of several products.
"I line right above my lip," she explained. "Once you get the natural shape of your lips, just go a tiny, tiny bit above it."
The next key step was to use what Apple deemed "the best lip plumper in the world."
"You can see the lips are already plumping," she pointed out at the end of the video. "Not lip filler. Thank you!"
The model also recalled attending her first red carpet alongside her mom and brother Moses Martin, 19, for Gwyneth's latest movie Marty Supreme, where she wore a dress her mom had worn 30 years earlier.

"I've never felt more awesome in my life," she said. "I didn't know that when you step out, like it is the scariest thing in the world. And the whole time I'm just like, 'Look normal. Look normal, look normal, look normal.' And everyone's just like, 'Apple! Apple! Apple! Look over your shoulder!'"
"I'm like, 'I don't know where to look, but I really want all of you guys to get the photos that you need, but I literally don't know what to do and I'm feeling really scared and overwhelmed and this is my first time doing this, like, please be nice to me,'" Apple added. "But it was so fun and the movie was so good."
The Vanderbilt University senior noted that after she attended the premiere, people pointed out how much she takes after her mother.
"That was a moment where everyone was like, 'You're your mom's twin,'" she said. "And I was like, 'Thank you. I'll take it.' Are you kidding?"
