A lot of the sports world was paying attention to the NFL playoffs on Saturday evening.

Anthony Edwards said that we shouldn't forget about him.

The Minnesota Timberwolves' superstar had a career night, despite a narrow loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Edwards dropped 55 points, a career high.

It was the third 50-point game of Edwards' career, which ties a Minnesota franchise record.

There have been 10 total 50-point games in Wolves history.

Edwards has three, and Karl-Anthony Towns also had three.

Kevin Love, Derrick Rose, Mo Williams and Corey Brewer each had one.

Edwards, obviously, has plenty of time to claim this record all for himself.

He surely would've liked to get the win against Victor Wembanyama and company on Saturday night.

But he also put together quite the highlight reel, and it's a night Wolves fans won't soon forget regardless of the final result.
