Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’s Anna Cardwell’s widower Eldridge Toney is set to welcome his first child with fiancée Jessie English, two years after the TLC star’s death.

Eldridge Toney is getting an exciting new role: Dad.
A little over two years after the death of his wife Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Anna Cardwell, his fiancée Jessie English confirmed she is pregnant with their first child.
“We are extremely excited to announce!!,” Jessie wrote in a Jan. 25 Instagram post alongside a photo of the pregnancy test, onesie and sonogram pics. “Baby Toney due September!!! Eldridge Toney.”
The post also included a photo of Eldridge and Jessie smiling alongside each other as they snapped a selfie.
Baby Toney will mark the first child for Eldridge who helped raise Anna’s two daughters Kaitlyn, 12, and Kylee, 9, whom she welcomed from previous relationships, until her death from cancer in 2023. Anna’s mother June Shannon was awarded custody of Kaitylyn in 2024, while Kylee lives with her father. For her part, Jessie has a daughter from a previous relationship.
Eldridge and Jessie’s news comes a month after they announced their engagement on Christmas Day.
“Mrs. Toney has a nice RING to it!,” Jessie wrote alongside the Dec. 25 Instagram carousel where she holds up her ring for the camera while wearing matching pajamas with Eldridge. “Our love story just got a new chapter! Eldridge Toney I love you!”
Eldridge and Jessie began their relationship in March 2025—after meeting on Tinder. And for their part, Eldridge has the support of Anna’s family, who has even given Jessie their seal of approval.
“She has met Anna’s family and they like her a lot,” Eldridge told Us Weekly in December. “We go over for holidays and times in between to see Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn loves her, and that is something that sits great with me.”
“She has also met Kylee,” he added. “Who also loves Jessie.”
What’s more, Eldridge credited his fiancée for being by his side through his grief.
“She knows I have good days and bad days when it comes to missing Anna,” he explained. “And she is extremely supportive.”
“Our future together is bright from what we have talked about and how things are going now,” he added. “I know a lot of people may say I’m moving on fast but at the end of the day, Anna wouldn’t want me sitting around in misery.”
