Angel Reese isn't the only elite rebounder in the Reese family.

Her younger brother, Julian, made NBA history for the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.

In a 133-110 win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, Julian Reese notched a 26-point, 17-rebound double-double.

It tied him with the legendary Shaquille O'Neal as the fastest player in NBA history to reach 60 career rebounds.

Curiously, Reese's first game against the Jazz earlier this month saw him join Shaq and Tim Duncan as the only players in the past 40 years to record a 20-rebound game within their first five career appearances.

Reese was recently recalled from the Capital City Go-Go as he remains on a two-way contract. But judging from his rebounding numbers, he may be in consideration for a standard NBA contract -- he's averaging 12.0 points and 10.7 rebounds in six games.

It goes to show that rebounding really does run in the family. Julian's sister Angel is the two-time defending rebounding champion in the WNBA, absolutely dominating the glass since the Chicago Sky drafted her seventh overall in 2024.
