Andy Cohen said he doesn’t “really have anything to say” about Jill Zarin being fired from E!’s “The Golden Life” after her Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show rant.
The host added on his SiriusXM show Thursday, “If you want further comment, call E!”
“I mean, especially someone who was let go in Season 4, talked about it with me so much on camera, off camera, was finally coming back, and then a week after the announcement…,” Cohen continued. “But I will never get over the sight of the Zarin Fabrics Instagram account,” Cohen continued. “Posting a picture of Jill with an X over it, with an X over her face. I never thought that I would see the day.”
Zarin starred on “RHONY” for four seasons from the show’s premiere in 2008 to 2011. She returned in 2022 for a season of “Ultimate Girls Trip.”
Bravo is under the NBC umbrella, but “The Golden Life” is being produced by E! – which is now a part of the newly formed Versant Media.
After Zarin, 62, uploaded an Instagram video criticizing Bad Bunny’s performance, Zarin Fabrics, which was founded by her late husband Bobby’s father in 1936, cut ties with the former Bravo star.
The company posted a picture of Zarin on its Instagram page with a giant red X painted over her face.

“Zarin Fabrics stands firmly against racism, discrimination, and rhetoric that seeks to exclude or diminish people based on identity, culture, or background,” the captioned read.
“We want to be absolutely clear that Jill Zarin has not had ownership of or been associated with Zarin Fabrics for several years,” the statement continued. “Our company operates independently, and any public statements attributed to her are made in a personal capacity and do not reflect our values, beliefs, or operations.”
Zarin has since deleted her Instagram rant, in which she called Bad Bunny’s performance the “worst halftime show ever.”
“It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating right now, the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish, and, quite frankly, grabbing his ‘g’-area,” she continued. “I think it was totally inappropriate.”
“You’ve got all these young kids watching the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds because he’s so insecure. Seriously.”
Despite many Bravo stars clapping back at Zarin’s take, sources close to the reality star told Page Six that “E! completely overreacted,” and “if they’d waited a week, it would have been fine. The show doesn’t air for nine months.”
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum was originally cast on “The Golden Life,” but the series’ producers, Blink49 Studios, revealed she had been axed in a statement on Tuesday.
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life.’ We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values,” the producers shared in a statement to Variety at the time.
Page Six initially broke the news that Zarin as well as fellow “RHONY” alums Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon and Sonja Morgan would star in a new show on E!.
It was later revealed that the series is called “The Golden Life” and will film in the spring in Palm Beach, Fl.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Reza Farahan claimed that Zarin once bragged to him about the first “Real Housewives of New York City” spinoff falling apart due to her putting “her foot down” and “demanding money.”
When Bravo rebooted “RHONY” in 2023 with an all-new cast, the network announced a second show called “RHONY: Legacy” that would feature OG housewives.
However, the series was then turned into a single season of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,” allegedly due to failed contract negotiations.
But in 2023, the businesswoman told Page Six that she had nothing to do with the change.
“’Legacy’ didn’t happen because it just wasn’t meant to happen, that’s the truth,” she stated. “It has nothing to do with me. It has to do with the producers and what they decided to do. I don’t really know.”
