Will There Be a ‘Love Me Love Me 2’ Movie?

Attention all Kissing Booth lovers: There’s a new Wattpad fan-fiction movie to inject directly into your veins, and it’s Love Me, Love Me, the new Italian teen romance that began streaming on Amazon Prime Video today.

Directed by Roger Kumble, with a screenplay written by Veronica Galli and Serena Tateo, Love Me Love Me is an Italian-language YA love story, adapted from the original, self-published book series of the same name. Though the series has since been published as print novels—the first novel out in English, available to buy on Kindle—it was originally released on Wattpad, where it racked up over 23 million reads. The movie stars Mia Jenkins as a teen girl named June, who transfers to an elite, private school following the tragic death of her brother. There, June dates a nice, polite boy named Will (Luca Melucci), who seems perfect… if it weren’t for Will’s annoyingly hot, dangerous, bad boy BFF James (Pepe Barroso Silva). You can probably guess where this is going!

Will there be a Love Me, Love Me 2 movie?

As of now, there is no confirmation that a Love Me, Love Me 2 movie is happening.

That said, there are three more books in the series. So the material is there! The next book in the series, Love Me, Love Me: Polar Opposites, is coming out in English for Kindle on March 17, 2026. You can pre-order the book on Amazon now.

Books three and four—Love Me Love Me 3: Endless Love and Love Me Love Me 4: Still Together—are available to read in Italian, but are not yet available in English.

If the first Love Me, Love Me movie does well on Prime Video this weekend, it’s more likely that Amazon will order the sequel. That said, given that the movie has not even been greenlit yet, it would be at least a year, if not longer, before you saw a Love Me, Love Me 2 movie on Amazon Prime Video.
