Analyst reveals extremely dire situation Ravens have entering offseason

1 hour ago 3

The Baltimore Ravens, somewhat bizarrely, will enter the offseason workouts, leaving one of the most crucial positions essentially vacant.

Tyler Linderbaum was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders, leaving a gaping hole at center, and the Ravens didn't fill it.

For Lamar Jackson, who is expected to lead this team back to the playoffs, and possibly more, that is far from ideal. But what is also not ideal is the candidates that the Ravens have to fill that void.

Sports Illustrated's Gilberto Manzano listed the players who could fill what he thinks is the biggest roster need this offseason.

"At the moment, it seems Baltimore has given first dibs to Corey Bullock, a 2024 undrafted free agent with no starting experience," Manzano wrote. "Danny Pinter, a six-year veteran with 10 career starts, and Jovaughn Gwyn, a 2023 seventh-rounder, could also be in the mix at center."

Can Ravens get by with lesser-knowns?

They could, but ideally you wouldn't.

Are there some free agency options out there that Baltimore could look at?

Graham Glasgow, James Daniels, and Ethan Pocic are some of the names who are still available, but the Ravens might want to try their hand at those already on the roster in training camp before making such a move.

I'm still baffled that the Ravens didn't address the center position, especially considering how important it is to Lamar.

But time will tell if the franchise made the right decision.
