The Los Angeles Chargers have been players in free agency, as the franchise has signed a host of outside free agents, as well as keeping several in-house ones.
But there is one player who hasn't gotten his future sorted, and we thought he might be one of the first to get it done, and that's receiver Keenan Allen.
After posting 777 yards and 4 TDs from 81 receptions with the Chargers last season, Allen is a free agent, and we aren't sure if L.A. has any intention of bringing him back.
I think they should, and as it turns out, CBS Sports' Jordan Dajani thinks so too, naming the Chargers as a landing spot for Allen.
"Keenan Allen left the Los Angeles Chargers for a year in 2024 when he was traded to the Chicago Bears, but returned the very next season," Dajani writes. "We predict he decides to remain with the franchise that selected him in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
"Plus, who wouldn't want to stay and play in a Mike McDaniel passing attack with Justin Herbert at quarterback?"

Should Allen return?
Given what he produced in a largely run-heavy scheme, now that Mike McDaniel is at the helm, one would imagine that the passing attack should heat up for Justin Herbert.
And that should mean Allen gets more targets and yards.
Of course, money will be a factor in it too, likely a one-year deal forthcoming, given Keenan's age, and we aren't sure if he would want such a deal.
But there have been some good additions for the Chargers, and Allen's head might be turned by McDaniel now being the offensive coordinator.
Time will tell, but there might not be a better spot for Allen in 2026 than the Chargers.
