An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International. Airport over a blown front tire.

American Airlines Flight 1461 experienced a “malfunctioning nose landing gear,” prompting the emergency landing at around 8:44 p.m. Wednesday night, a Port Authority spokesperson told The Post.

The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, had departed from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in North Carolina just before 7 p.m. and landed at its scheduled destination on time, according to FlightAware data.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The plane was towed to a gate after landing.
