‘Summer House’ Reunion: West Wilson Reveals When Amanda Batula Relationship Became Romantic

Amanda Batula and West Wilson's romance isn't the only plot twist causing some backlash from Bravo fans.

As Summer House's drama-filled season 10 reunion reached part two this week, many viewers couldn't help sharing their thoughts on Amanda's unique and unexpectedly polarizing hairdo.

The look in question resembled a ponytail-bun hybrid, with half of Amanda's slicked-back hair in a small bun while the bottom half of her brunette locks fell free down the back of the 34-year-old's neck.

And, yes, Amanda's hairstylist Olivia Halpin is very aware of the chatter surrounding her divisive creation.

Responding to the viral hair conversation, Olivia defended the look on Instagram June 3 cheekily writing, "the bun you love to hate."

And hate some followers did.

"It’s giving I am running to the bathroom to puke and gotta get the hair out of the way," one Instagram user replied, with another commenting, "Girllll the way I would never let anyone know I did this."

Of course, Amanda had bigger fish to fry at the reunion after announcing she's dating former BFF Ciara Miller's ex-boyfriend amid Amanda's divorce from Kyle Cooke.

While being grilled about their relationship timeline, the new couple insisted their friendship didn't turn romantic until after Amanda and Kyle announced their breakup in January.

"When we were out, I kind of looked at Amanda," West confessed to host Andy Cohen during the first part of the reunion, aired May 26. "And I was like, ‘Am I f--king crazy or is there a little something going on here?'"

For her part, Amanda made it clear that she and West didn't have sex until after they publicly confirmed their romance in a joint statement posted on Instagram Stories March 31.
