Is the ‘Masters of the Universe’ 2026 Movie Streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video?

Great news for Gen-Xers who want to relive their childhood this weekend: The 2026 Masters of the Universe movie opens in theaters tomorrow. He-Man is back, and this time, Skeletor doesn’t have a chance!

Directed by Travis Knight—with a screenplay written by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, and David Callaham—this is the second live-action feature adaptation of the Mattel franchise, following the 1987 Masters of the Universe film starring Dolph Lundgren. This time around, actor Nicholas Galitzine is stepping into He-Man’s knee-high boots and leather skirt, and Jared Leto co-stars as the evil Skeletor who rules He-Man’s home planet as a tyrant.

The new Masters of the Universe movie cast also includes Camila Mendes, Jared Leto, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Kristen Wiig, Morena Baccarin, and Idris Elba. This sounds like a fun one to watch on the big screen, but if you’d rather wait to watch the movie at home, then read on to find out what we know about when and where the Masters of the Universe 2026 movie will be streaming.

For now, Masters of the Universe 2026 will only available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in the U.S. on Friday, June 5. You can find a showing near you via Fandango.  Masters of the Universe 2026 is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.

Masters of the Universe 2026 is not streaming on Netflix and likely will not be on Netflix any time soon, due to the fact that the film is not a Netflix movie. Masters of the Universe 2026 is an Amazon MGM movie, and therefore will likely go to streaming on Amazon’s Prime Video.
