Amanda Balionis was recently present in Dubai for coverage of the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship. It was a tremendous tournament, and now that it is over, Balionis will be returning to cover the rest of the NFL season. But before that, interestingly, Balionis recently commented on recent news surrounding the Indianapolis Colts and their owner.
Carlie Irsay-Gordon is currently the owner of the Colts, as she took over the team after her father, Jim Irsay, passed away in May. Carlie is the eldest of Jim Irsay's three daughters, and she is currently not only the team's owner but also the principal decision maker. Interestingly, her engagement with the team has been more than just an owner, and this has even generated big headlines.
Carlie Irsay Gordan has been seen on the field several times, taking notes on her squad in order to help them improve even further. As a result, Carlie has earned the respect of the squad, and Colts DT Grover Stewart paid honor to her by wearing a pregame uniform with her image on it. The move has made massive headlines, and ESPN even shared it on its Instagram account.
Amanda Balionis found this post interesting and reposted it on her Instagram story, claiming Carlie Irsay Gordan is definitely an icon. The caption of her Instagram story simply said,
"Icon"Talking more about the story, here's a look at it:
