You can craft Helmets, Leggings, and Chestplate as part of the Armor forging process. The main material required to make these is Ore, which you can find at the mines. Armor causes your HP to increase by a set percent based on the type of gear you make. Light Armor sees a small increase in your health pool, Medium Armor increases it moderately, and Heavy Armor grants you a hefty HP bonus.

There is a catch to keep in mind while crafting Armor: submitting the required amount of Ores doesn’t guarantee you the desired Armor piece. The gear you receive can randomly change, and you can influence the odds of receiving the one you want to a degree by submitting more Ores. The crafting process of Weapons follows a similar ruleset to that of Armor, where the amount and rarity of the Ores submitted determine the item you receive. So, if you’re looking to max out your DPS, consider adding rarer Ores while you forge an armament to improve the odds of getting a high-rarity weapon. We recommend saving your high-rarity Ores for the best Weapons in the game.

You can forge Daggers, Great Swords, Great Axes, Katanas, Straight Swords, Gauntlets, and Colossal Swords.
