Grow a Garden classifies its Plants into two major categories based on yield type: Single Harvest and Multi-Harvest. Single Harvest species are Plants that develop a single Fruit at a time and disappear from the farm once harvested. These one-and-done species are a rarity in comparison to their Multi-Harvest counterparts, which are abundant in the experience due to their higher usefulness.
Let’s take a look at every Single Harvest Plant in Grow a Garden.
Defining characteristics of Single Harvest Plants in Grow a Garden
Carrot is the most common Single Harvest Plant (Image via Roblox)Single Harvest Plants are defined by their inability to produce more than one Fruit at a time. Upon harvesting a Single Harvest Fruit, the produce is added to your inventory, and the plant disappears from your farm entirely.
This makes the overall farming process a little limited, as the acquisition process typically involves plenty of RNG. Since getting such species back on your farm is not guaranteed, Single Harvest plants are usually not the most practical for making money.
These species produce Fruits that are consistently higher than their acquisition cost, so you are guaranteed a profit with these species. In contrast, Multi-Harvest species produce Fruits that sell for a fraction of their acquisition costs. That said, since you can make money from Multi-Harvest Plants ad infinitum, they eventually outpace their Single Harvest counterparts.
Single Harvest Plants are a rarity in the game for this very reason. Getting Plant Seeds is an RNG-heavy process to begin with; the idea of losing a high-value Plant while selling is not a particularly enticing prospect. As of this writing, there are 37 Single Harvest Plants in the game, as opposed to 134 Multi-Harvest species.
