Alex Rodriguez sends 4-word message to Trey Yessavage after 22-year-old Blue Jays rookie creates history in World Series Game 5

MLB icon Alex Rodriguez appreciated Toronto Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage's historic performance in Game 5 of the World Series. Yesavage pitched seven innings and struck out 12 hitters, which led to the Blue Jays' 6-1 victory against the Dodgers.

A-Rod said in a clip as a studio analyst for FOX:

“I talked about teams facing a pitcher for the second time — usually that’s an advantage for the offense. The more you see a pitcher, the more chances you get. "But this kid not only got better, he was an all-timer… he’s rock-throne. He’s a real pitcher—working with 100, adding and subtracting. He threw only 29 fastballs today, …. but pitched like a 22-year-old, like a 32-year-old, incredibly impressive.”

A-Rod shared the clip on his Instagram story, captioning it:

“Trey Yesavage, simply impressive.”

Alex Rodriguez gifted Minnesota customized jerseys to the MLB FOX Crew at Game 5 of the World Series

Yankee legend Rodriguez presented customized jerseys to Kevin Burkhardt, David Ortiz and Derek Jeter, members of Fox MLB’s Postseason Studio Show. He shared images on Instagram on Wednesday, presenting a gift from the Timberwolves.

A-Rod captioned it, “New @timberwolves trees for the @mlbonfox crew!”

Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore are co-owners of the Timberwolves. Rodriguez reflected on his journey:

“If you know Mark and me, we just never give up and we come from the bottom,” Rodriguez said. “We fought hard for this, we did it the right way.”

Marc Lore is the founder and CEO of Wonder Company, Jet.com, and also acquired Walmart and co-founded Quidsi, the parent company of Diapers.com, which was acquired by Amazon.

A-Rod, a 14-time MLB All-Star and World Series Champion, also invested in a real estate venture and development firm named A-Rod Corp.
