Akshay Bhatia is preparing to play at the 2025 Hero World Challenge. The American golfer is enjoying a break from the PGA Tour these days and has recently confirmed details about his next outing.
He is slated to tee off at the 20-player field event in the first week of December. On Wednesday, Bhatia reshared TGR Live’s post about his commitment to the tournament on his Instagram account.
“Pumped to be back at one of my favorite events to end the year,” he wrote.

It’s a four-day event which will start with its first round on December 4 and will run through the weekend to have its finale on December 7. Bhatia was invited to the event on an exemption along with Spieth and Horschel.

Akshay Bhatia will marry his fiancée, Presleigh Schultz, on December 12 after the completion of the Hero World Challenge. As the wedding nears, Bhatia and Schultz shared glimpses of their pre-wedding photoshoot earlier this month on Instagram. They shared a joint post on October 15.
"Future Mr and Mrs. Bhatias" Schultz wrote.In the pictures, Schultz wore a white dress with a hat and a veil, while the golfer opted for a black suit.
Akshay Bhatia’s fiancée had shared about their excitement for the marriage back in January. She shared a few pictures of the couple with a caption:
"Daydreaming about marrying you this year…12.13.2025."Meanwhile, on the field, this season has been amazing for Akshay Bhatia. He has played in 26 tournaments, made the cut in 19 of them, and recorded four top-10 finishes.
He started his campaign at The Sentry and played four rounds of 71, 72, 67, and 66 to record a T32 finish. He had a decent outing in the first three events of the year and then recorded a T9 finish at The Genesis Invitational.
He then played at the Mexico Open, where he started his campaign with an opening round of 66 and then carded rounds of 66, 70, and 67. He settled in solo ninth place at the event.
However, he then struggled and missed the cut at the Arnold Palmer Invitational before recording a T3 finish at The Players Championship.
