After Sean McVay update, how long will the Rams be without Davante Adams?

Thursday night gifted NFL fans with an absolute masterpiece of a game between heated divisional rivals, the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks

In one of the strangest and most entertaining games all season, the Seahawks won in overtime, securing the number one seed in both the NFC West and the NFC overall.

The Rams put up one of the most outstanding offensive performances of the season, with Matthew Stafford throwing for 457 yards and three TDs, and Puka Nacua going for 250 yards and two TDs.

They did this despite being without their other star WR, Davante Adams.

Adams missed the game due to a lingering hamstring issue, and after an update from head coach Sean McVay, we have a better picture of how much time he'll miss.

How much longer will the Rams be without Adams?

Sean McVay took the chance to speak with reporters on Friday following the game and gave an update regarding Adams' hamstring injury.

McVay said that Adams will most likely not play next Monday night against the Falcons and that, based on the time of year, his not playing until the playoffs would make sense.

The Rams are now in a position after the loss to Seattle, where they have a playoff spot locked up, but not much else left to fight for, as the one seed is out of their control.

With a playoff spot in the bag, you might as well rest Adams and make sure he's as healthy as possible for the playoffs.

They'll certainly miss him, as even with missed games, he's still the NFL's leading WR in TD catches (14). Luckily for LA, though, Puka Nacua has been playing out of his mind, so between him and their RB combo of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, they should be able to win out.
