Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hailed Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley as one of the best full-backs in the Premier League. He said that the Englishman has been in good form and saw it against Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr last week.

Speaking to the media after the game, Guardiola claimed that Bradley was one of the best full-backs in the league this season. He heaped praise on his winger, Jeremy Doku, for doing well against the defender and said (via Metro):

"[Doku] had an outstanding game against one of the best full-backs in the Premier League. [Bradley] is so quick, I saw his game against Vinicius Junior [vs Real Madrid on Tuesday]."

Guardiola also spoke about Bradley in his post-match press conference, claiming that he got advice from former Liverpool coach Pep Lijnders about the defender and said (via LiverpoolWorld):

"I think he [Doku] will never be a top, top scorer, to be honest. But he's demanding himself to be better, he listens, and he has special attributes with dribbles. Today, Conor [Bradley] - the right-back of L'pool - I'm really, really impressed! Pep Lijnders told me a thousand incredibly good things about that guy, he can do everything." "I know the game against Madrid how good [he was] against Vinicius - he's wow, right? And he [Doku] handled it! He was aggressive, quick without the ball, and we tried to help him. Listen, he played an outstanding game!"

Manchester City have moved to second place in the Premier League following their win over Liverpool. The Cityzens are now four points behind Arsenal after 11 matches in the league.

Manchester City manager delighted with win over Liverpool

The Liverpool clash was a special game for Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola as it was his 1000th game as a manager. The Spaniard was delighted to seal a 3-0 win in the game and said (via club website):

“I thank so much the players, the staff and backroom staff so much for giving me this present. I don’t like too much to talk about myself but 1,000 games is a lot and what L'pool mean here in my career, to do it that way I’m so proud. Everyone has been top, I’m really pleased.”

Erling Haaland had his penalty saved early in the game, but he got on the scoresheet just before the half-hour mark. Nico Gonzalez doubled the lead deep into injury time of the first half, before Jeremy Doku made it 3-0 right after the hour mark to seal the win.
