San Diego Padres pitcher Michael King signed a 3-year contract extension worth $75 million on Thursday. Padres teammate Adrian Morejon’s wife and Jackson Merrill’s girlfriend celebrated King’s news and wrote warm messages to his wife, Sheila, on Instagram.

Padres pitcher Michael King and his wife, Sheila, educate people about myths and truths regarding type 1 diabetes through their King of the Hill Foundation. On Nov 13, he shared an Instagram post with the caption:
“This month, we’re clearing up confusion around Type 1 Diabetes—and hoping that helps you create a plan with your healthcare team.”King also said that a person can develop T1D at any age. They partnered with Sanofi, a pharmaceutical company that develops drugs for diabetes and cancer.
“Talk to your doctor about screening for type 1 diabetes-related autoantibodies now and take charge of your health today.”He captioned it.Michael King and Sheila met at Boston College and started dating when he debuted with the Yankees. The couple tied the knot in December 2023 and welcomed their first child, Grace, in July.
