The Duke Blue Devils and their fans were curious to see which team would win the NBA Draft lottery on Monday night. Of course, Cooper Flagg has been expected to be the clear No. 1 overall pick regardless of which team won the selection.
Nico Harrison and the Dallas Mavericks have officially won the lottery. They have the first right to take the Duke standout and bring him in as a much-needed replacement for Luka Doncic, who they traded to the Los Angeles Lakers before the deadline.
Flagg has the talent to become a legitimate superstar at the NBA level. With the Mavericks, he's landing with a team who can help him win right away and develop as a player quickly alongside Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving.
Adam Schefter, ESPN's top NFL insider, did not waste time taking to social media to share a first look at Flagg in his new expected threads.
"How it will look," he captioned the photo with.

What will Flagg be bringing to Dallas? His lone season with the Blue Devils shows major potential.
In the 37 games he played at the collegiate level, Flagg averaged 19.2 points per game to go along with 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.4 steals. He shot 48.1 percent from the floor overall and connected on 38.5 percent from three-point range.
While there is still a chance the Mavericks could go a different direction, all signs point to Flagg being in Dallas.
