Adam Pearce responds to recent criticism

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce responded to online criticism today. Pearce kicked Gunther out of the arena this past Monday night on RAW after The Ring General boasted about tapping out John Cena at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Pearce responded to wrestling fans today on Instagram about how much he enjoys tortas (Mexican sandwiches). In a video from his car, the WWE authority figure noted that he was tired of fans commenting on his love for tortas and made it known that he would no longer be running from who he truly was.

"If you're unfamiliar, a torta is a sort of Mexican sandwich, at least as I understand it. And it's thick. And it's juicy. And it's stuffed with meat. It's succulent, and yeah, I like the taste. A lot. And I've been known to pound a torta from time to time. I'm not running from who I am, and I'm standing strong. So you guys want to keep running your mouths online, okay, about my dietary habits? I'll eat me a torta," said Pearce.

Major WWE star accuses Adam Pearce of corruption

Becky Lynch recently accused Adam Pearce of corruption following her loss at WWE Survivor Series.

Lynch tapped out to AJ Lee's Black Widow submission hold at the PLE in November and also submitted to the hold at Wrestlepalooza 2025. The Man lost the Women's Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri last month, and the Alpha Academy member successfully defended the title against Ivy Nile last night on RAW.

Big Time Becks took to social media earlier this month to claim that the higher-ups in the company were corrupt, including Adam Pearce. She also uploaded a clearly edited video of Adam Pearce and a referee planning to make life difficult for The New Day on RAW.

“WE MUST LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED!!! WE MUST FOLLOW ANY LEAD!!! ALL SIGNS POINT TO CORRUPTION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL!!!”

Becky Lynch has been boycotting WWE RAW in recent weeks due to her accusations of corruption. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for the storyline in the weeks ahead.
