Former NXT Champion Adam Cole joined AEW in 2021. He is one of the most talented names on the roster, and he has thousands of fans worldwide. Furthermore, he has held the TNT Championship once.

Cole is currently on a hiatus. He was going to defend the TNT Title against Kyle Fletcher at All In earlier this year. However, he could not compete because he was not medically cleared. He has no other choice but to relinquish his gold. The 36-year-old is reportedly suffering from an undisclosed illness that could eventually make him retire from wrestling.

Adam Cole recently purchased a custom-built arcade gaming device. The Florida native is a massive gamer, and he was excited about his new buy. He was seen praising this device in a new video. Interestingly, he briefly addressed his All Elite Wrestling hiatus in it. He said that 2025 has been challenging for him. However, his latest purchase has made his year.

"Its been a challenging time for me this past year and let me tell you this made my entire year,” said the AEW star.

Bryan Alvarez says that AEW star Adam Cole might never wrestle again

In a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez said that Adam Cole is still having a lot of issues. Additionally, he stated that, even though it has not officially been announced yet, he might be done with in-ring competition.

“He’s still having a lot of problems and as you can hear from the interview here, I mean, he’s still not flying, which is bad… I think the feeling is that he may not ever wrestle again, and it’s a very strong feeling in that direction… My guess is he’s probably done even though it has not been made official, but we’ll wait and see,” said Alvarez. The 36-year-old will hopefully make a complete recovery and return to AEW someday. Only time will tell what the future holds.
