The DP World Tour's 2025 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship finally kicked off on November 6 at Yas Links Abu Dhabi. This event has a field of 72 golfers competing for a total prize of $9 million. The tournament is very crucial for the Race to Dubai points leaderboard, and after the first day of the tournament, interestingly, five players are in first place.

Richard Sterne, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Kazuma Kobori, and Adrien Saddier are tied for first place on the leaderboard, having scored 8 under par. They are only one point ahead of sixth place. With such a close leaderboard, the second round of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will be quite important.

The second round of the event will include 24 tee groups, each with three golfers. All groups will begin their second round at the front nine holes, i.e., Hole 1. Ryggs Johnston, Jeong Weon Ko, and Joe Dean will be the first tee group in the second round, going off at 7:17 AM local time.
