Aaron Rodgers sparks marriage rumors after ring sighting - Is the NFL star off the market?

Aaron Rodgers has fueled marriage rumors after wearing what appeared to be a wedding band on his ring finger at a pre-Kentucky Derby event over the weekend. 

The NFL quarterback showed up to the infamous pre-Derby Barnstable Brown Gala event in Louisville, Kentucky, on Friday, May 2, wearing the band on his left ring finger. 

Shortly after photos of the celebrity-packed event appeared online, eagle-eyed fans noticed the jewelry on Rodgers' finger and began speculating about his current relationship status. 

Rodgers, 41, even posed for a picture alongside other professional athletes on the carpet and didn't try to hide the ring.

He wore a sharp black suit with a black undershirt to the event, paired with dark shoes.

"If Aaron is married, he isn't telling anyone about it, all he has mentioned is that he wants to marry Brittani and wants to be a father, But if he has, that's still the million dollar question. But the moment he will be a father is when he is done playing football. " a source told the "Daily Mail" on Monday. 

"Aaron is a very particular person, and he will make his playing decision within the next few weeks, and if he is married, he will mention that on a future Pat McAfee appearance. People close to him think that he isn't officially and it might be a promise ring," the outlet reported. 

Fans speculate if Aaron Rodgers secretly got married

Some people have suggested that Rodgers' may have been wearing a smart ring to the event and not a wedding band. However, the former NFL star surely knew that wearing the band on his left ring finger on the red carpet would spark marriage rumors - but he wore it anyway. 

One person questioned the ring on X, writing, "Is that a wedding ring on Aaron Rodgers' finger? If it is, that's awesome and wish him and his wife nothing but the best."

Another person wrote, "Wait so Aaron Rodgers go married?? Was that the hold up all along?"

Rodgers revealed earlier this year that he's in a relationship with a woman named Brittani, although she hasn't stepped out publicly with him yet. 

The NFL athlete is currently an unsigned free agent. 

The Pittsburgh Steelers is believed to his best shot at returning to the league, although the 49ers could also be a possibility due to Brock Purdy's injury history.
