Retirement is a lifestyle most of us dream about.

No work, all play, and a chance to master new skills.

That's been life for former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce since he retired from the NFL last year.

Like many retirees, the Super Bowl champion has taken up golf as a new hobby.

It hasn't gone well.

Kelce started his Sunday morning by searching for tips to improve his golf game. But he didn't use his celebrity status to contact a professional golfer. He went to Reddit asking for help.

The 37-second video features a variety of angles where Kelce is teeing off into a practice net. After one swing you see him say "not good" as he turns to the camera.

The post was made on r/GolfSwing and quickly gained traction as tips poured in to aid the future hall of famer. Some commenters weaved in Kelce's football experience into their answers.

"It's not Aaron Donald. You don't have to hit it so hard. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast," -u/elpenumbro1

Other pieces of advice were more detailed.

"Jason-work on half swings. You will “feel” as if you’re only swinging half way but will be surprised when you watch the video. I find half swings make it easier to naturally hit all of the “correct” positions and the ball will fly nearly as far. Another thing to try is left hand only swings. You’ll get the feeling of proper wrist set. Eventually add your right hand but make sure it’s “only along for the ride”.

Congrats on your football career and post-playing success!"

Some members of the page were just flabbergasted that Kelce had visited the subreddit at all.

"Like everyone else said, try not to sway on the driver swing especially. But holy sh-- this is cool as hell, Jason Kelce wants our advise guys 😂"

Kelce did acknowledge in his post that he is also working with a "local pro" in Philadelphia. But anyone who uses Reddit knows it can be a tool to source sound information from everyday people who care about a specific subject.

Hopefully Kelce gained some wisdom from online golfing gurus and his game can improve as retirement continues.

It just goes to show that even a Super Bowl champion can struggle on the fairway.
