There are so many beautiful rare wild cats out there that are just- criminally underappreciated, and every time we come across them online, every time a story about one of them pops up, we feel that it's our duty to give them the love and appreciation that they deserve. Like the Pallas' cats - the perpetually grumpy, round, fluffy cats that we wish we could have at home but can't. Or the rusty spotted cat - the smallest wild cat in the world whose size you should not be fooled by, because they are very experienced hunters as well.
We thought, considering our general obsession with cats and also our job writing about cats all the time, that we have seen it all. But no. Just like the rest of the internet, over the Halloween weekend, we were blessed with a new wild cat popping up on our timelines. And okay, technically, they are not new. This species was a known one - the white Iberian lynx, it's just that no one has actually spotted one on camera before. Until now.
