Every time we come across a story of someone rescuing a stray kitten, the comments are always filled with "go back and look for the mother" or "try to find more kittens in the area, they might be there". Like clockwork, those comments are always there. Because it's true. Oftentimes, a kitten might wander off a little too far from its siblings and momma and get lost, but that doesn't mean that they are not looking for it. Sometimes, the rescuers go back, but it's rare for them to actually find the momma or siblings while having a quick glance. Of course, you may never find them, but sometimes, with enough patience and determination, you might.

The person who rescued this itty bitty kitty… made the effort. The didn't come back to where they found the kitten just once or twice.
