The 2026 MLB All-Star Game is happening in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park, and the Philadelphia Phillies are bound to send a few players to the All-Star Game.
As Anthony Castrovince of MLB.com notes, the full All-Star rosters will be announced tonight, July 4, at 7:30 p.m. EST. It's going to be interesting to see who makes the roster, and for the Phillies, especially as hosts of the All-Star Game.
But who on the Phillies roster actually has a chance to make the All-Star roster for the National League tonight? Six players on the Phillies roster have a real chance to be All-Stars, with tonight's announcement revealing if these six players actually make the team.
Phillies could have 6 All-Stars announced tonight on July 4
1. Brandon Marsh, OF
Of the Phillies roster, the only one who's likely to make the All-Star team right now is Brandon Marsh. He made it to Phase 2 of fan voting, and the last update had him in first place among all NL outfielders in the fan vote.
This season, Marsh is hitting .315 with 15 homers, 46 RBIs, 97 hits, 15 doubles, two triples, and an .871 OPS. He's deserving of an All-Star nod, and through the fan vote, it's likely he earns a spot.
2. Kyle Schwarber, DH
While Kyle Schwarber didn't make it to Phase 2 of the fan vote thanks to Shohei Ohtani, and likely won't start the All-Star Game barring Ohtani sitting out, he's all but a lock to make the roster tonight.
He is hitting .250 with a league-leading 30 homers to go with 55 RBIs, 79 hits, nine doubles, one triple, and a .935 OPS. Schwarber is also an option to participate in the Home Run Derby, which would be a whole lot of fun for the Phillies fans.

3. Bryce Harper, 1B
Out of the three position players who have a chance to make the All-Star roster, Bryce Harper might, somehow, be the one most at risk of getting snubbed by MLB.
It's not for a lack of production, as Harper, who hit for the cycle this season, is hitting .274 with 20 homers, 57 RBIs, 85 hits, 16 doubles, two triples, and a .906 OPS.
But, with Freddie Freeman likely to win the starting 1B job, and Matt Olson also likely to earn an All-Star bid, there might not be room on the NL roster for Harper.
He absolutely should make the All-Star roster, and if he doesn't, he'd be a massive snub. But, with Marsh likely to win the fan voting in Phase 2 for the NL outfield's starting job, and Schwarber a near-lock, Harper's chances are the worst of these three position players.
4. Cristopher Sanchez, SP
While fans can't vote on pitchers, if they could, Cristopher Sanchez would surely lead all vote-getters this season among pitchers. He has a 2.00 ERA with a 10-3 record and 136 strikeouts in 117 innings pitched in 18 starts.
He's not only a top Cy Young candidate, but he's also looking like the frontrunner to be the NL's starting pitcher with Shohei Ohtani and Jacob Misiorowski unlikely to pitch in the All-Star Game. Sanchez is a no-brainer and should be an All-Star tonight.
5. Jhoan Duran, CL
Jhoan Duran, the Phillies' closer, just won pitcher of the month for June, and should be an All-Star. Finally, the Phillies have a dominant closer again, and Duran is more than deserving of an All-Star nod this season.
He has a 1.52 ERA with 45 strikeouts in 31 appearances with a 0.94 WHIP and 21 saves in 29.2 innings. He has nearly had more saves (21) this season than hits allowed (22), and he's blown just one save.
Duran should be an All-Star, and it's hard not to get excited imagining Duran coming out to his electric entrance during the All-Star Game in his home ballpark.

6. Zack Wheeler, SP
While Sanchez and Duran should be All-Star locks, Zack Wheeler is a much more interesting All-Star candidate. He has a 2.36 ERA with an 8-1 record and 84 strikeouts this season in 13 starts across 80 innings pitched.
His statistics are more than deserving of an All-Star nod; the only thing holding him back is that he missed the first month of the season.
But, even after missing quite a bit of time, Wheeler should be an All-Star for how impressive he's been since coming off of thoracic outlet syndrome surgery. Wheeler is a great story, and also would be deserving of an All-Star nod.
Phillies potential All-Stars
Only those six, Brandon Marsh, Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, Cristopher Sanchez, Jhoan Duran, and Zack Wheeler, are realistic All-Star candidates.
Jesus Luzardo has a 3.88 ERA and has been good this season, and Orion Kerkering has a 6-0 record with a 2.62 ERA. But, there are likely better candidates around MLB that would get in over them.
No one else on the roster, whether it's Alec Bohm, J.T. Realmuto, Trea Turner, or Bryson Stott, is deserving of an All-Star nod.
The six aforementioned Phillies should make the All-Star team tonight and get to play in front of a home crowd at the All-Star Game later this summer.
