WWE RAW in Boston ended with Rhea Ripley's return and the confirmation of the Women's WarGames match for this year's Survivor Series. Additionally, William Regal also announced the Men's WarGames match during a backstage segment.

The show kicked off with a surprise as John Cena dethroned Dominik Mysterio to become the new Intercontinental Champion. In this article, we will discuss five things WWE subtly told us on Monday Night RAW this week.

#5. John Cena might be losing his final WWE match on December 13

Secret reason behind John Cena's massive win - Watch Here!

When John Cena was just a few days away from his in-ring retirement, he emerged as the Intercontinental Champion on the red brand. Winning a championship could be a great thing for Cena as he is now a Grand Slam Champion, but it also subtly hints that he may be losing his final match at Saturday Night's Main Event.

The Franchise Player is advertised to be part of Survivor Series 2025. If Cena defends the title at the show and manages to retain the belt, it automatically will make his SNME match a title bout.

Since Cena can't retire as IC Champion, he'll eventually suffer a loss and lose his final match in the squared circle.

#4. Dominik Mysterio vs. Rey Mysterio set for Survivor Series: WarGames

Despite the IC Title loss, Dominik Mysterio is still expected to lock horns with Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series. When The Cenation Leader defeated Dom Dom, he was seen backstage with the Master of 619. Rey was happy with the victory of Cena, and this is something that Dominik will not love.

It seemingly suggests that a showdown between Dominik and Rey is on the horizon, and Survivor Series is likely to be the place for another father-son showdown.

#3. AJ Lee is returning to MSG next week

Becky Lynch and Maxxine Dupri are set to lock horns next week at Madison Square Garden for the Women's IC Title. Since Wrestlepalooza, AJ Lee hasn't appeared on TV, but the former Divas Champion might finally make her return to the show next week.

Ever since AJ Lee returned on television, WWE has hinted at a feud between Becky and Lee for the mid-card women's title. So, with The Man defending the title next week, it won't be a surprise if Lee comes back in the post-match and attacks the Irish superstar.

#2. Cody Rhodes is not defending the Undisputed WWE Title at Survivor Series

CODY RHODES IS HERE TO SAVE PUNK FROM THE VISION🤯🤯 #WWERaw

Despite being the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes will not defend his title at Survivor Series 2025. The Stamford-based promotion subtly confirmed this when William Regal announced the Men's double-structured match, featuring Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and Jey Uso.

The American Nightmare is not expected to pull double duty at the PLE, implying that the Undisputed Title will not be defended on the show.

#1. Drew McIntyre could be joining Team Vision if he wraps up filming before WarGames

Drew McIntyre is suspended by WWE, and reports disclosed that his filming schedule was the reason for this move. With Cody Rhodes joining forces with the babyface side, McIntyre might join Team Vision for the WarGames match.

However, this can only happen if The Scottish Warrior filming wraps up before the premium live event.
