The latest episode of Monday Night RAW was a blockbuster show, which aired from TD Garden in Boston. It was filled with big surprises, massive shockers and jaw-dropping twists that left fans on their feet. The WWE shows have been under the fans' radar lately due to their degrading quality and lack of any substantial elements.

However, Triple H made sure to give fans a great show last night. The creative team finally delivered what fans have been clamoring to see for weeks. Whether it was Rhea Ripley's return or John Cena becoming a Grand Slam Champion, WWE made some right moves that stirred a fresh wave of excitement among fans.

#5. The Kabuki Warriors winning the Women's Tag Team Title

The Kabuki Warriors pulled off a huge upset this week on RAW by capturing the Women's Tag Team Championship. Well, Triple H pulled the right trigger at the right time. Asuka and Kairi Sane have been riding on red-hot momentum since turning heel on Monday Night RAW. They just needed gold around their waist to add more credibility to their ongoing run.

The fact that they won the Women's Tag Team Championship last night has put multiple storylines into motion. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY's feud with The Kabuki Warriors will take an interesting turn from here on. Besides, Asuka and Kairi Sane walking into the Women's WarGames Match as champions will make their team look like a legitimate threat.

#4. Shifting gears on the WarGames build for Survivor Series

Survivor Series is around the corner and the direction for the Men's and Women's WarGames matches was obscure until this week. There was quite a frustration among fans as to why Triple H hadn't started the buildup for both matches with the PLE looming on the horizon. However, WWE finally resolved that problem this week on RAW by shifting gears.

Both the WarGames matches were revealed last night on the red brand. While the Men's Team has three members each, the Women's Team has four members as of now. The remaining members will be revealed in the coming weeks. However, the fact that Triple H kicked off the WarGames build this week without any further delay was the right call.

#3. Rusev and Sheamus winning their tournament matches

WWE kicked off the first round of the "Last Time is Now" tournament this week on RAW. While Rusev defeated Damian Priest in the first match, Sheamus beat Shinsuke Nakamura in the second. The Bulgarian Brute and The Celtic Warrior emerging victorious in their respective matches was a great move by WWE and it was something fans wanted to see.

The two superstars have a storied history with John Cena and their victory makes perfect sense. Sheamus and Rusev advancing in the tournament to earn the opportunity to face The Cenation Leader one last time is a story that needs no explanation. Hence, Triple H did the right thing on RAW by pushing them ahead in the tournament.

#2. Nikki Bella turning on Stephanie Vaquer on WWE RAW

One of the biggest surprises that came from Monday Night RAW this week was Nikki Bella's heel turn. Well, it was not much of a shock, as fans had been anticipating it sooner or later. However, Triple H pulling the trigger on this last night, just ahead of Survivor Series, was indeed the right move.

Besides, Stephanie Vaquer was also looking for a prominent feud to establish her footing as the Women's World Champion. Therefore, Nikki Bella turning her back on La Primera last night on the show has pushed things in the right way. This could now lead to a blockbuster feud between Vaquer and Bella for the coveted title.

#1. John Cena becoming a WWE Grand Slam Champion

One of the biggest things Triple H got right this week on RAW was John Cena winning the Intercontinental Championship. It was the only title that The Cenation Leader had never won in his decorated career. Cena retiring from WWE without becoming a Grand Slam Champion would have left an unsatisfactory void in his pro wrestling career.

However, history was made last night in TD Garden. John Cena finally won the Intercontinental Championship in front of his home crowd, where it all began. He has etched his name in the elite list of Grand Slam Champions in WWE. This was a much-needed moment, a perfect gift to Cena just a month ahead of his retirement from pro wrestling.
