5 Returns that can take place at WWE RAW on Netflix's first anniversary special

WWE's next big show will be the first anniversary of RAW on Netflix. Last year's inaugural show featured Rhea Ripley defeating Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship. Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat.

The first anniversary special already has two big matches booked, with a third likely. CM Punk defends the World Heavyweight title against Bron Breakker.

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY challenge the Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women's Tag Team titles. With their victory over the New Day on RAW, the Usos will probably face AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.

Since the show has a huge spotlight as the first big event of the year, the next five returns could take place on RAW on Netflix's first anniversary.

#5. LA Knight gets revenge on the Vision

LA Knight might have been written off TV via a vicious attack at the hands of the Vision. He endured Spears and Tsunami splashes, including one on top of a car.

It leaves CM Punk as the main hero fighting off the group on RAW. Jey Uso has turned his focus elsewhere. With the huge title match likely closing the special, The Megastar could come back with a vengeance to cost Breakker the title.

It would be revenge for the constant attacks he and others have endured at the hands of the villainous faction.

#4. Becky Lynch ends her boycott of RAW

Becky Lynch has refused to appear on RAW ever since she tapped out to AJ Lee during WarGames. Losing the Women's Intercontinental title to Maxine Dupri was one of the first straws. That loss continues to be a point of contention for The Man.

If Dupri competes in any capacity, Lynch could end her boycott by attacking her rival. This could lead to AJ Lee popping back up since her distraction led to Dupri winning the title.

Her absence gives a focus to some of the other women on the roster, but with Royal Rumble season upon us, Big Time Becks won't be out of action for too long.

#3. Seth Rollins comes back for answers

The Visionary has been out of commission since a post-Crown Jewel attack by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. It was to write him off to deal with a shoulder injury. He's had surgery and could appear on programming in a non-contact role.

Crashing the World Heavyweight title match at the anniversary special would be the perfect spot for a return. Austin Theory or another hooded figure could intervene. It's what Rollins would potentially do that would be the talking point.

Would he help his most hated rival, Punk, to get revenge on Breakker and the Vision? Is he the one orchestrating the attacks? A return from The Architect would have the fans buzzing after the show.

#2. The Rock follows suit from last year's show

The Rock made a huge deal to appear at the first edition of RAW on Netflix. He praised both Netflix officials as well as Cody Rhodes, completely ignoring the prior year of storytelling.

After that happy appearance, he immediately reverted to The Final Boss, demanding Cody Rhodes' soul as his champion. Rhodes rejected the offer, and John Cena famously turned heel.

Rocky will probably want to be front and center again on the anniversary special. While his actions messed things up on the way to WrestleMania, he may not resist the urge to get in front of the cameras once again.

#1. Chris Jericho returns to WWE

Chris Jericho's potential WWE return has been a topic of discussion over the last few months. His deal with AEW ends when 2026 starts, and he's been off TV since April.

With John Cena getting a retirement tour angle, Y2J could make a shocking return on the anniversary special to kick off his. He could also return as a special entrant in the Royal Rumble, and will probably do so if he doesn't pop up on RAW.

Losing one WWE Legend only to get another back would be a big moment for WWE. Officials will load up the special event, and it could be the perfect stage for Jericho's return.
