5 possible finishes for CM Punk vs. Bron Breakker on WWE RAW on Netflix's first anniversary special

CM Punk defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on the first RAW of 2026. The show marks the first anniversary of RAW on Netflix.

The Best in the World has clashed with the Vision for much of the second half of the year. Despite Seth Rollins forming the group, Breakker and Bronson Reed kicked The Visionary out of the faction sooner than expected.

That led to Punk winning the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. The former NXT Champion gets a chance to start 2026 as the leader of the red brand.

The next five finishes are possible when Punk faces Breakker for the World Heavyweight title on the RAW on Netflix's first anniversary show.

#5. Bron Breakker wins the title clean

If WWE officials want to present Bron Breakker as an unstoppable force, he could defeat CM Punk without any help. This could happen in a squash match that goes on for around seven minutes but is dominated by the youngster.

He could also survive everything Punk throws at him, cementing himself as both the present and future of WWE with a huge win.

A clean victory also means Punk probably won't get a rematch since those aren't automatic anymore.

Most confrontations between the Vision and Punk have ended in chaos. One side attacks the other. The other side responds by getting the upper hand the following week.

The Vision will interfere at various points during the title match to ensure that Breakker leaves as champion. Punk will be heavily outnumbered, but could get some backup from Rey Mysterio or others.

If there's too much outside interference or brawling that the referee cannot stop, he or she may be forced to call the outcome a no-contest. This could push the title match to the Royal Rumble or Saturday Night's Main Event at the end of January.

Any time a member of a heel faction has a match, the possibility of interference is extremely high. Dominik Mysterio has won nearly every one of his matches thanks to help from the Judgment Day.

The Vision has continued this tradition, even having a masked assailant help the group win. With Reed, Theory, Logan Paul, and even Paul Heyman likely ringside for the match, Bron could get a lot of help in securing the title.

That would protect Punk in a potential loss as he's one of WWE's biggest stars. It could also give him grounds for a quick rematch if the Vision costs him the title.

Punk just won the vacant title at Saturday Night's Main Event at the beginning of November. Having another quick swap so soon would devalue the work names like Seth Rollins and Gunther did to establish the belt as prestigious.

It may not be Bron's time on January 5th, so Punk could win clean. It would likely lead to another showdown down the road, especially if Breakker wins the 2026 Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber.

Rollins is legitimately injured, but could distract Breakker to cost him the victory. Knight will want revenge since he's been dealing with the group for most of 2025.

The Vision thinks everything is in their favor on RAW, but their past actions always come back at the worst possible moments. With such a huge stage, a big return from Knight, Rollins, or even Roman Reigns could cost Breakker the title.
