I don’t want to judge too harshly, though. You can usually see how someone arrived at the original idea and admire that they actually followed through. Unfortunately, following through sometimes results in something incredibly unsafe, completely unnecessary, or downright ugly.
Still, one person’s DIY fail is another person’s work of art. No matter how you look at these projects, there’s something here for everyone. Maybe you’ll find inspiration. Maybe you’ll feel better about your own home repairs.
