#4. Damian Priest was written off WWE TV again

Damian Priest suffered the wrath of Aleister Black and Zelina Vega when they destroyed the former Judgment Day member on the show. The Archer of Infamy not only crashed through the table ringside but also suffered a backstage beatdown.

The destruction from Black subtly hints that Priest is written off television again. Following this, Damian may take a brief hiatus from the Stamford-based promotion and return after a few weeks.

#3. Nick Aldis vs. Cody Rhodes could be in the works

Cody Rhodes and Nick Aldis were engaged in a heated war of words on SmackDown. The American Nightmare even asserted that he doesn't work for the National Treasure but for the fans.

Rhodes was visibly unhappy with the actions of the SmackDown General Manager, and this heat suggests a match between them could be in the works. Since Aldis' WWE debut, his in-ring match has been anticipated by the fans, and the company is likely planting seeds for their future bout.

#2. Alexa Bliss or Charlotte Flair's World title feud teased

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair were part of a backstage interview in which they expressed their desire to become Women's Tag Team Champions again. However, Jade Cargill appeared in the segment and engaged in a brief face-off with both stars.

Many believe that this could be a hint of either Bliss or Flair engaging in a Women's title feud with the Storm soon.

#1. Carmelo Hayes is next in line for the US Title match

Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov defeated DIY in a tag team match on SmackDown. Before this, Melo was seen in a backstage segment with the Mad Dragon. All the development on the show confirms that the former WWE NXT Champion is next in line against Ilja for a United States Championship match.

A match between these two will surely be a banger match to witness on Friday Night SmackDown.
