AEW and WWE are fierce rivals. Tony Khan has signed several names from the Stamford-based company so far. Names such as Jon Moxley, Mercedes Mone, Samoa Joe, Adam Copeland, Ricochet, Bobby Lashley, Toni Storm, and more were once under the World Wrestling Entertainment banner.

Likewise, several former AEW stars are currently in WWE. Blake Monroe, Ricky Saints, Penta, Rusev, CM Punk, Jade Cargill, Ethan Page, and more are thriving in the sports entertainment juggernaut. Both companies are doing well and have a solid roster. Interestingly, World Wrestling recently shared a cryptic vignette.

In the above clip, a person in a suit and dress shoes is seen approaching. There is no way to figure out the identity of this man. However, many fans believe that it is a former or current All Elite Wrestling star.

Here are four current/former AEW stars who could be unveiled as the mystery figure in WWE's cryptic vignettes.

#4. Danhausen

Danhausen joined AEW in 2022. Fans were certain that he was going to be pushed to the moon and become a huge star when Tony Khan signed him. However, his time in the Jacksonville-based company has been underwhelming.

The Very Nice Very Evil star has hardly done anything worthwhile in All Elite Wrestling. He hasn't held a single title or had any memorable feud. It might be time for him to leave and try his luck elsewhere.

Danhausen's contract with the Jacksonville-based company is set to expire next year. Interestingly, there is a possibility that Tony Khan has quietly released him. The 35-year-old might be done with AEW after all, and Triple H has already signed him. The above vignette could be none other than him. While this is quite unlikely, the internet wrestling community will go berserk if it is indeed him.

#3 & #2. The Righteous

The Righteous consists of Vincent and Dutch. They were under All Elite Wrestling's banner from 2023 to 2025. The duo is immensely talented, and they could have achieved immense success in the Jacksonville-based promotion. However, Tony Khan failed to utilise them. Interestingly, many believe that Triple H will book them better.

One of the members of The Righteous could be the person in the vignette released by WWE. The duo could start their run in the Stamford-based company and then gradually get promoted to the main roster. If Vincent and Dutch are booked properly, they could become World Tag Team Champions someday.

#1. Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho

The man in the above vignette could be none other than former AEW World Champion, Chris Jericho. Y2J is reportedly leaving All Elite Wrestling upon the expiration of his current contract. According to Fightful, his deal will end at the end of this year.

Fans have received several hints that the veteran is done with the Jacksonville-based company. He is reportedly WWE-bound bound and it will be interesting if the man in the vignette is him. The 54-year-old is a legend, and if it is indeed in, fans worldwide will lose their minds. Hopefully, he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame someday.
