Yesterday I sat in an ER until midnight for my maniac 8 year-old-son, who broke his 4th bone. And while it made me sick to my stomach to watch him suffer, it also made me sick to my stomach to realize he’s gonna keep doing this, and I’m going to keep shelling out thousands of dollars to fix it.

Nobody warns you that having kids is just paying to repair a small person who actively tries to destroy themselves on a daily basis. I love him more than anything but the kid treats his skeleton like it’s a suggestion.
