Is Luka Doncic playing tonight vs. Pistons? Final status for Lakers star

The Los Angeles Lakers will be seeking their 10^th consecutive win they face off against the Pistons in Detroit on Monday night.

The good news for the Lakers is that they’ll have star guard Luka Doncic available for the game after some doubt.

At first it looked like Doncic would be sidelined for the game in Detroit after receiving his 16^th technical foul of the season during L.A.’s 105-104 victory over the Orlando Magic on Saturday night.

A one-game suspension is automatically handed up by the league when a player is assessed his 16^th technical in a season. However, Doncic’s 16^th technical was rescinded by the NBA, allowing for his availability against the Pistons on Monday night.
