3 WWE superstars Roman Reigns must face in 2026

Roman Reigns has cemented himself as one of the most legendary professional wrestlers in the history of WWE. He held the Undisputed WWE Championship for a 1316 days before losing it to Cody Rhodes which is the longest World title reign of the modern era. However, Reigns' appearances have become less and less following his title loss. He only had a few matches this year as well that too against very few opponents.

Here are 3 WWE superstars that the Tribal Chief should face in 2026:

#3. Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker is one of the most feared stars in WWE right now. The Badass pinned CM Punk in the Men's WarGames match last month and is now set to face him for the World Heavyweight Championship on the first edition of RAW in 2026. There is a good chance that Breakker might win the Championship with some help from his Vision stablemates.

The Vision have been feuding with Reigns since the RAW after WrestleMania. Breakker was the one who attacked Reigns on the first RAW after Mania and the two faced off in a tag team match at SummerSlam. Reigns could make his return after Breakker wins the title to issue a challenge to him. A match between the two would be a guaranteed main event and Reigns must face Breakker to elevate him to the next level.

#2. Seth Rollins

The Visionary and the Tribal Chief have been sworn enemies ever since the Shield break up nearly 11 years ago. The two feuded with each other leading upto this year's WrestleMania where Paul Heyman betrayed Roman Reigns to align himself with Seth Rollins. Reigns never really got his revenge on Rollins after that as they never got to face each other in the ring.

In 2026 after Seth Rollins recovers from his shoulder injury and returns to the ring, Roman Reigns must challenge him to a singles match at one of the major shows of the year. A singles match between the two is long overdue as Rollins played a vital role in Reigns' WrestleMania XL title loss and even took Paul Heyman away from him. A singles match between the two former shield brothers would sell out an arena by itself.

#1. Cody Rhodes

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes faced each other in the main event of the second night of both WrestleMania 39 and WrestleMania 40. After Cody beat Reigns to end his historic Championship reign, WWE teased another match between the two on several occasions. Even at the recent Survivor Series: WarGames PLE, Reigns told Cody that it was the last time they were teaming up together.

After so many teases, the two stars must face each other next year in a singles match. Both Roman Reigns and Cody have one victory over the other, another singles bout will help decide the rivalry and break the tie. If Cody doesn't lose the title to Drew McIntyre in Berlin, Reigns could actually win the Royal Rumble and run it back with Cody at WrestleMania for the same title Cody beat him for.
