AEW is set to hold its upcoming pay-per-view, Full Gear 2025, this Saturday in Newark, NJ. Leading up to that event, the promotion will make a stop in Boston, MA, this Wednesday for a special three-hour block of action, combining Dynamite and Collision.

With the excitement generated this Monday on WWE RAW, featuring John Cena's final appearance on the flagship brand, and the return of Dolph Ziggler as a mystery participant in the Last Time Is Now tournament, Tony Khan will no doubt be looking to make sure that this week's All Elite Wrestling programming draws as many viewers as possible. One of the easiest ways he can achieve that, of course, is by booking some unexpected returns on his show.

Let us consider three names that TK could bring back this Wednesday.

#1. Former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker

Earlier this year, rumors circulated that Britt Baker was done with All Elite Wrestling, owing to conjecture regarding her supposed backstage unpopularity and off-screen conflicts. The DMD hasn't been seen in the ring since November of last year, and the weekly programming has yet to drop any meaningful allusion to her whereabouts this year. However, in an interview last month, Tony Khan confirmed that the former Women's World Champion was still signed with AEW.

The All Elite Wrestling Creative Head could stun fans this Wednesday by bringing Baker back during this week's Dynamite-Collision special. The Doctor could influence the outcome of either of the two quarterfinal matches in the ongoing AEW Women's World Tag Team Title Tournament. Alternatively, she might return to start a feud with her former ally and tag partner Jamie Hayter, or even reignite her rivalry with Mercedes Mone, potentially costing her during the title match later this week at Full Gear 2025.

#2. Former NWA World Women's Champion Kamille

Kamille made her debut last year as Mercedes Mone's bodyguard and muscle. However, their alliance didn't last long because shortly after Kris Statlander handed The Brickhouse her first loss in the company, The CEO began to mistreat and disrespect the former NWA Women's Champion, which eventually drove the latter to walk out of her employ. Shortly afterwards, in November last year, Kamille was found laid out backstage and hasn't been seen in the company since then.

The North Carolina native's on-screen hiatus could come to an end this week if Tony Khan books her return on the upcoming Dynamite-Collision special. The episode will likely feature both "Ultimo" Mone and Statlander ahead of their AEW Women's World Title match at Full Gear 2025.

Kamille could attack both stars upon returning, revealing Mercedes as her mystery assailant from last year and sending a message, as well as a challenge to Stat for a future championship showdown, this time with the latter's belt on the line.

#3. Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Keith Lee

Keith Lee has been absent from active competition in All Elite Wrestling since he withdrew from Worlds End 2023 due to injury. He went under the knife for "double surgeries" in January last year but has yet to return to action. Despite being gone for well over a year now, fans are still clamouring for The Limitless One on a weekly basis. The latter, on his part, has claimed that he will step back into the ring at some point, and that his career is far from over.

You honor me. I appreciate you for that. All my gratitude.I'd like to take this moment to remind you, that you also, are boundless.Additionally, I'll take a moment to reassure you that a return to the ring will certainly happen. Though I won't posit how or when.Much love.

All Elite Wrestling recently unveiled a new title - the AEW National Championship - the first holder of which will be determined at Full Gear 2025 through a Casino Gauntlet Match. A number of top stars have already declared themselves for the bout, including Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Knight, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey.

Keith Lee might be the next big star to announce his participation in the matchup, an announcement the former NXT Champion could make upon returning to television during this week's Dynamite-Collision special.
